Lacsadaisical Lack of Doodles?

Holy Lack of Doodle, I haven't posted anything here since October o8.
Well a couple of updates to start with and then a renewed return with verve (I hope) to get more consistent with posting.

Just finished a commissioned digital image for a pal who needed a virtual window in her office. What a lucky dog (and pal) to have this as a running locale. An honour to be able to bring it inside for her. Created on a wacom tablet in Illustrator. Here's the image itself and as it appears mounted. I lurve happy clients : )

Also, the 'Run Til You Puke' graphic has been adopted as team title and icon by a team of magnificent master runners who will taking on the Ragnar Wasatch Back Relay!! Wish I could be there myself pals! RTYP!

Illustration Friday

This is my first submission to Illustration Friday. Cats always know when you're leaving and generally they're self-righteous enough to think they should be going too. I think if they had opposable thumbs, they'd unpack your stuff and pack themselves and their own things in place.

Learning And Doing

Back hiking in through the foothills of 'Learning Curve Mountain' again. Invested in a Wacom tablet. Wheee! Mostly, I was skeered spitless by the thing and wasn't convinced at first - But happily immersed in learning by doing by now.

On my run today, I saw several goldfinches dipping and diving. Such jovial little birds. They make me smile. This was my first tentative sketch on the new appliance.

Licking The Window From Both Sides

The cat and I are of the same spirit lately. When I'm outside running; I want to be back at my drawing table and when I'm at my drawing table; I want to be out running. I don't howl and lick the window or anything, but I pace. And sometimes I trip over the cat who is busy licking the window -- wanting out. Or in.

The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks and then starting on the first one.

So; if the most painful part is getting to the start line; here at least is a start for my thoughts and drawing and other stuff related to projects, running and window licking.
